Q: Is there a volunteer deposit?
     A: Yes, we're still having a volunteer deposit. However, instead of paying this online you will be asked to pay for this by check at your parents meeting. This date will come at a later time from your child's team director. Here is a link to our Volunteer Deposit Policy (updated Dec. 2025)
    - T-ball - $100 =2 hours
    - Rookie BB/SB - $200 =4 hours
    - Remaining ball - $200 =6 hours
    - $400 family maximum

Q: My online subtotal doesn't look right. What did I do wrong? 
     A: If this is happening to you please email [email protected] with your families name and what you are experiencing. We will get back to you with a answer as soon as possible. 

Q: Can I get a refund if my child decided not to participate in G-E-T Youth Sports Club?
     A: Here is our Late Fee, Refund, and Cancellation Policy 

Q: Can I sign my child up after the teams deadline?
     A: There is a $50 fee for late sign up with board approval

Q: What company will show up on my debit or credit card statement?
     A: It will appear as Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect. Please email [email protected] with questions before disputing. Any disputes are charged $35 processing fee. G-E-T Youth Sports Club will pass this charge along to the person who files the dispute.

Q: Does my child have to be a good swimmer to be on swim team?
     A: For safety reasons we ask that a child is able to swim the lap of the pool and back without touching. 

Q: What if I live outside of your select municipalities?
     A: G-E-T Youth Sports Club (TYSC/GASR) for summer baseball, summer softball, and swim we do have a non-resident fee of $50 per participant. For those who live outside the Village of Trempealeau, Townships of Trempealeau, Caledonia, Dodge, Galesville, and Ettrick, as well as the Village of Ettrick this non-resident fee applies. This is in place due to fairness with the funding we receive from our local municipalities. Here is a link to more information about this policy.   

Q: What happens if my check bounces? 
    A: If G-E-T Youth Sports Club receives any non sufficient funds check that family will be responsible for paying the $35 fee.

Q: My child wants to participate in your program but I can't afford it right now.
     A: We have a Financial Assistance Scholarship Application that a parent or family can complete and return to [email protected] 

Q: How are teams formed?
     A: Teams are formed first based on child's grade. Please see more information under heading Team Formation.
