2026 Summer Rec

Welcome to G-E-T Youth Sports Club. Our focus is to have fun, build friendships and learn the sport your child signs up for. 

Our T-ball program is for children who are currently in 4K or Kindergarten as of January 1 of the registration year. These would be children going into Kindergarten or 1st grade that upcoming fall. We typically have 4 to 5 co-ed teams. Coaches will teach the children the fundamentals each sport; throwing, catching, hitting, a little field work, and how to play as a team with great sportsmanship. Participants will have one practice or in-house scrimmage a week from June 1 to July 31 with possible extra games against other area teams which would be optional. The schedule will be sent out to you by your director with those dates prior to the season starting.

Rookie/8U Softball is a combination of 1st and 2nd-grade girls who will have ball 3-4 days a week. They will participate in the LaCrosse - BGC Seven Rivers League, competing with teams from the area like LaCrosse, Onalaska, West Salem, etc. If there are not enough girls signed up, the 1st grade girls will be combined as a co-ed team with rookie baseball. The 2nd-grade girls will then advance to 10U Softball.

Rookie Baseball is a team of 1st grade boys (could also be a co-ed team) that plays in the Holmen/Brice Prairie League. They will have 3-4 days of ball per week. They will have home games along with traveling to fields in the Holmen and Brice Prairie areas.

8U Baseball will play in the LaCrosse - Boys and Girls Club Seven Rivers League. They will have home games and will also travel to other area teams in the Coulee Region; Holmen, Brice Prairie, LaCrosse, and West Salem. Plan on 1-2 practices and 2 games every week. Home and away tournaments are possible.

9U Baseball to 12U Baseball and 10U Softball to 14U Softball are a part of the LaCrosse - Boys and Girls Club Seven Rivers League. They will have 2 weekly practices for pre-season and 1-2 practices for regular season, along with 2 games per week and tournaments on the weekends. You will travel to many towns in the Coulee Region like Holmen, LaCrosse, West Salem, Sparta, Caledonia, LaCressent, Goodview, etc. Home and away tournaments are possible.

Swim team  is great for those who can't get enough of the water. They will be asked to attend a few practices every week and will have meets throughout June and July (mostly on Friday nights or Saturday mornings). Practices will primarily be held in the mornings during the week and Sunday evening practices.

*For NON-RESIDENTS - There will be a $50.00 municipality fee for residents outside of Galesville, Ettrick, or Trempealeau (Village of Trempealeau, Town of Trempealeau, Town of Caledonia, Town of Dodge, Town of Gale, City of Galesville, Village of Ettrick, and Town of Ettrick) due at registration. If your municipality is not reported correctly, an invoice will be billed at a later date.

Your director will contact you with all practice, game, tournament, and meet information. All seasons are over by July 31.

2026 High School Legion Baseball/Softball

Welcome to our G-E-T Youth Sports Club registration website.

The G-E-T Youth Sports Club (GASR & TYSC) in partnership with the Ettrick Legion Post 354 and Ettrick Youth Sports Club (EYSC) will again offer a summer high school legion baseball and softball program. This program will be offered to high school students grade 9th through 12th to join and play summer legion ball. These participants must be both age-eligible and meet enrollment standards to the G-E-T High School prior to the season. A jersey deposit will be required for the use of the club-owned jerseys. Hats/Visors, pants, helmets, belts, and socks can be purchased separately with color/design information to be determined at a later date.

The following programs will be offered:
  • 1 - 19u Legion Baseball (Seniors) Team
  • 1 - 16u Legion Baseball (Juniors) Team
  • 1 - High School Legion Softball Team

The Ettrick Legion Post will provide support to these athletes as well as provide a ceremonial presence at all home games. Community members are encouraged to attend these games to support Post 354 and our Legion baseball/softball players. Any community members who have served are welcome to join the Ettrick Legion Post 354. No need to be an Ettrick resident.

2026 Baseball games will be held on the G-E-T High School baseball fields for both 16u and 19u Legion Baseball Teams. Softball games will be held at the Ettrick Dusso/Memorial Field in Ettrick. Additional fields will be utilized as necessary.

Your Legion Coach or Legion Manager will contact you with all practice, game, tournament, and other important information. Regular season schedules will be worked on this winter; however, some important dates to note and save in your calendar now are:

HS Softball Legion Regionals: July 21-July 26, 2026; State: July 31- Aug 2, 2026

16U Baseball Regionals: July 17-21, 2026; 16U Baseball State: July 24-28, 2026

19U Baseball Regionals: July 24-28, 2026; 19U Baseball State: July 31- Aug 4, 2026

2026 Spring Rec

Welcome to the G-E-T Youth Sports Club. Our focus is to have fun, build friendships and learn the sport your child signs up for. 

Children will have practices during the week and could have 1-2 games each week from March 23 to May 24 with possible tournaments as an option. The schedule will be sent out to you by your director/coach with those dates prior to the season starting.

**If your participant does not currently have a G-E-T Youth Sports Jersey and Cap, one will need to be purchased at a later date**

13U Spring Baseball is intended for current 7th graders, and 14U Spring Baseball is intended for current 8th graders.

2026 Track and Field

The G-E-T Youth Track and Field program is for children that are ages 6-14 split into two divisions. Younger division ages 6-8 and older division 9-14. Teams will be co-ed teams competing in individual and team events. The main focus of this program is to have fun, build friendships, sportsmanship, teamwork and learn a new sport.

Coaches will teach the children the fundamentals of a races including both block and no block starts, relays with baton hand off, and how to work as a team with great sportsmanship. In addition, coaches will also teach the fundamentals in specialty events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump and shot put.

Children will typically have 3 practices a week with 3 meets held through out the summer. Meets will be held from June 1 to July 31. Children are able to sign up for events that they are interested in participating in for each meet. Schedule for the meets will be sent out to you by your director with those dates prior to season starting. They will participate and compete against teams from the Coulee Region like LaCrosse, Onalaska, Holmen, etc.

2026 Season: Practices will begin in June and end on July 31st or last meet, which ever comes first.
